What you’ll do

  • Be part of a growing team of engineers who enjoy working together on hard engineering and security problems.

About the Job

We’re looking for a self-driven, experienced Head of Product Marketing with solid technical background, writing experience and deep knowledge of the cyber security market.

This will be the first product marketing hire, and the first marketing hire, reporting to the CMO Dori Harpaz.

We operate in a still-being-formed category with rapidly growing demand, and LayerX is at the perfect position to become one of the top in the category.

You’ll spend your time on

The role responsibilities are traditional PMM role in a startup:

  • Develop messaging & defining the ICP, and update it on an ongoing basis.
  • Develop, implement and optimize comprehensive content marketing strategy and deliverables that create inbound demand.
  • Become the focal point for all sales team to get collateral requests and prioritize them.
  • Work closely with the Demand generation manager on all campaign needs (landing pages, ad copy, etc.)
  • Craft world-class collateral including solution briefs, brochures, whitepapers, reports, eBooks, case studies and website content.
  • Speak at professional sessions on trade shows, conferences and CISO forums.
  • Create product tutorials.
  • Initiate webinars and lead webinars as the main speaker
  • Manage all analyst relations, including briefing analysts on an ongoing basis
  • Manage all competitive intelligence: write battle cards, etc.
  • Become company’s main person to understand the market, customer needs and trends, through meeting customers

Your experience and skills

  • Experience in cybersecurity product marketing – MUST.
  • Experience with the network security space – huge advantage.
  • Experience with all areas of responsibility mentioned above.
  • Project management skills, working in an organized way, in collaboration with the other team members.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts and technologies into business-oriented value propositions.

Responsibilities: 

  • Strategic Engagement: Collaborate with Regional Sales leadership, Sales & Sales Engineers, and marketing teams to ensure the effective communication and utilization of LayerX Security’s channel strategy.
  • Executive Relationships: Establish and cultivate executive relationships, focusing on MSSP, SI’s, Advisory, VAD & VAR networks in your area of focus.
  • Channel Development: Collaborate with Channel Services & Channel Sales Engineers to establish dedicated LayerX Security practices in leading regional & global system integrators and MSSPs.
